OUR STORY
Skeleton Cru is a rock n roll force that blends the raw energy of
punk, metal, and British Invasion influences into a sound that's both
timeless and unmistakably modern. Fronted by long-time San Francisco Bay Area stalwart and international recording artist Gregory A Hill—who previously fronted the acclaimed metal band Dammaj and recorded the iconic album “Mutiny” on Parr Records, distributed by Roadrunner Records—Skeleton Cru delivers a dynamic performance that’s as deep in musical heritage as it is fresh and fun.
Veteran Bay Area guitarists David Maynard and Victor Anthony bring
unparalleled synergy with their dual harmony leads and infectious rhythms, while drummer Cameron Landers and bassist Russell Bridges form a solid, driving backbone that keeps the band’s pulse racing. Always pushing creative boundaries, Skeleton Cru is constantly writing and recording new material, captivating fans with tunes that are guaranteed to make you smile.
The band has recently joined forces with international rock star and
keyboardist Loren Gold (of The Who and Chicago) to record two exciting new tracks, "Snakes Bite" and "My Girl," set to be released in April.

GREGORY HILL - LEAD VOCALS
Gregory A. Hill is the powerhouse front man of Skeleton Cru, a high-voltage rock 'n roll band blending classic influence with a modern punch. A veteran of the Bay Area music scene, Greg was formerly the lead vocalist for Dammaj, whose debut album was released on Mutiny on the Parr Records, distributed by Roadrunner Records.
Now leading Skeleton Cru, Greg delivers a signature vocal style—gritty, soulful, and unmistakably rock—with a stage presence forged in decades of performing. His sound draws from the British Invasion, punk, and hard rock, channeling the spirit of legends while keeping it fresh and raw. Adding to Skeleton Cru’s pedigree is Greg’s brother-in-law, Loren Gold, renowned keyboardist for The Who and Chicago, who collaborates with the band on studio recordings like Snakes Bite, contributing his signature Hammond B3 organ sound.
With deep roots and unstoppable momentum, Gregory stands at the center of the bands explosive sound reminding us that true rock n roll is alive and kicking!
CAMERON LANDERS - DRUMS/BACK UP VOCALS
Cameron Landers has been a driving force in the underground rock scene since the mid '90's, starting with his first serious band, Ground Score, in 1994. From there he joined the tribal goth outfit Fontaine's Muse in 2000 before finding a long-term home behind the kit with RadioStar SF, which later evolved into Rock 'n Roll Villain Society, running strong until 2016.
In 2014, Cameron joined legendary Bay Area punk band, The Eyesores, where he still holds down the beat. He later teamed up with Ron "The Ripper" Greco of SF punk icons Crime, recording two albums - one featuring David Maynard of Skeleton Cru. Over the years, Cameron also performed with The Flesh Hammers, goth super-group Eyes Like Ice, and later Pleasure Parade, which transformed into Lipstick Killer in 2021. He's currently active in both The Eyesores and Skeleton Cru, continuing to deliver raw, high-energy drumming wherever he plays.
DAVID MAYNARD - GUITAR/BACKING VOCALS
David Maynard is a powerhouse guitarist whose searing tone, melodic sensibility, and unshakable groove for a cornerstone of Skeleton Cru's signature sound. A veteran of the San Francisco Bay Area music scene, David cut his teeth in the local rock and punk circuits, developing a style that equals parts raw energy and razor-sharp precision.
Known for his dynamic stage presence and creative songwriting chops, David brings a deep musicality and relentless drive to every Skeleton Cru performance. Whether trading blistering solos or locking into dual harmony leads with fellow guitarist Victor Anthony, his playing is always tight, tasteful, and full of attitude.
With decades of live and studio experience under his belt, David is more than just a guitarist-he's a true rock 'n roll lifer. His tone, technique, and instinctive feel for the music help fuel the band's high-octane sound, keeping crowds engaged and the songs flowing with fire and soul.
Offstage, David is a dedicated collaborator, constantly pushing the band's creative boundaries and helping shape Skeleton Cru's evolving sonic identity. From gritty riffs to soaring leads, he delivers the goods-loud, proud, and always from the heart!
VICTOR ANTHONY - GUITAR/BACKING VOCALS
Victor Anthony is a seasoned guitarist whose playing is rooted in the raw power of classic rock and the melodic edge of metal and punk. A long-time fixture in the Bay Area music scene, Victor is known for his expressive style, searing tone, and deep musical instincts.
In the 1980's, he briefly played with the legendary San Francisco metal band Dammaj, contributing the unforgettable main guitar lick to the track Boneyard, a fan favorite that still resonates with listeners today.
Now a core member of Skeleton Cru, Victor teams up with fellow guitarist David Maynard to craft the band's signature dual harmony leads and tight driving riffs. Together, they form a dynamic guitar duo that's central to Skeleton Cru's hard hitting, high-energy sound. Whether in the studio or on stage Victor brings passion, precision, and a love for the craft that continues to push the band forward.
RUSSELL BRIDGES - BASS/BACKING VOCALS
Russell Bridges has been a fixture in the Bay Area rock scene for years, known for his rock-solid playing, soulful tone, and instinctive feel for the groove. Before joining Skeleton Cru, he cut his teeth in several notable projects, including the Christian rock band Child of Mercy, where he brought weight and melody to the band's high-energy message driven sound.
Versatile and seasoned, Russell bends the grit f classic rock with the precision of a true pro. His bass-lines are the kind that hold down the fort while finding room to move-and he's not afraid to let 'r rip when the moment calls. Whether it's a straight up rocker or something with a little swing and swagger, Russell delivers the goods with style and substance.
A musical journeyman with deep roots and even deeper tone, Russell Bridges brings backbone, heart and a whole lotta groove to the Skeleton Cru.
